My friend asked me to paint something from Grimm's fairytales for our local Oktoberfest coming up in a few weeks.  I immediately thought of Hansel and Gretel because I love all the bling and glitter that I could add to a gingerbread house.  I painted my first painting on a large canvas which is shown below.  I've since added more glitter and sparkly gingerbread men to the painting but I haven't taken an updated picture.

Last weekend I kept thinking about how funny it would be to paint another picture with the wtich in the oven.  The only canvas I had was a 9x12 canvas board so I sat down after church and painted this one.

A swift kick!

This one cracked me up.  I liked showing just Hansel's foot and the flour dust off the floor.
