On My Worktable

I got Jane Davenport's new Book "Beautiful Faces" and I LOVE LOVE it.  It's the best step-by-step book I've seen.  The first lesson, is my mermaid using glazing techniques and I think it turned out pretty good:

I tried another style from her book last night and it went horribly wrong.  I gave up and just started blobbing paint on my own and she turned into a Polynesian/Asian girl.  Not what I had hoped but she's okay.  I'm having a very hard time painting my eye's like Jane teaches so I need to fill up a couple pages in my sketchbook practicing.
